Stirring the Mud Pit

Getting Out

We’ve finally been getting some significant rainfall, so I decided it was time to try to stir some water into the depths of the mud pit. I didn’t get to the bottom everywhere, but I got pretty close in one spot and I made a good deal of progress on the rest of the pit.

I started out using the shovel, but I decided it would be more fun to into the mud and dredge the bottom with my bare hands. I horsed around a bit and took advantage of the cord that I installed when I made the pit, which runs through an anchor point at the bottom of the pit. I can use the cord to hold my body deeper in the mud than I would normally go without something pulling me down.

I couldn’t leave the pit without getting mud in my hair and nose and ears, so I lay back, hiked my hips up and pushed my head under. I almost forgot how hard it was to get all that crap out of my hair.

Expedition Clip Released

You can find a decent description of this clip and an extended length trailer for it in my previous blog entry. In a nutshell, I went out in my tiny, rubberized briefs and navigated my way up a muddy channel. I had to go under trees, over log jams, and through lots of treacherous muck. I stopped and played in a half dozen places along the way. That was the purpose of the trip.

This is a pretty good video, because it was an overcast day, which makes for excellent image quality. The audio is so-so, since most of the video was recorded on the action cam (not a great mic), and there were helicopters flying over, at times.

Swamp Vlog from June 29

Well, it happened again. I paddled a great distance against the current (both ways) so I could subject myself to a grueling trial of man against mud. Insidious, body swallowing, sucking swamp mud, that is. Of course, it was all great fun … for the most part. I’m trying to get out on a regular basis so I can get my body back into condition. I allowed myself to get soft and now I’m paying for it.

This vlog was too long to offer it here in a format any larger than a postage stamp. Hopefully, you’ll get some insights into the trip; more than I could possibly convey in text. It was overcast, so the light was very good for video. I don’t think the sun came out even once, in 5 hours.

As I mention in the video, I did not take the torturous shortcut. Instead, I paddled the easy/long way to my special spot, then I backtracked into the shortcut so I could visit some fun mud that I usually have to slog past without exploring, because I am exhausted, and the tide is coming in, by the time I get that far. As you’ll see in this video, it’s not likely that anyone will ever follow me into that channel. It requires some calisthenics, even with a small kayak.

I’ll probably release this video in it’s full 1080p resolution in my clip store, in case anyone wants to pay to see the HD version. I also have a lot more video I could include.

Shortest Quicksand Clip, Ever!

I posted a new quicksand clip on C4S that is just over 2.5 minutes. I had to pad it out with some slogging because the actual sinking scene is really short (about a minute) and the minimum clip length is 2.5 minutes.

I found some mud that was pretty unique in that I barely floated in it. Most must gets thicker as you sink deeper, but this mud might have been thicker on top than it was at my feet. I couldn’t reach a bottom, and the consistency of the mud made it really easy for me to slip below the surface.

I recorded this yesterday, on my way through the canals of death. It was quite a day.

The Slog From Hell

I did it, again. I drug my boat through the canals of death. I wore jeans, which offered some protection against sharp sticks and saw grass, but they also make it harder to slog through the deep, sucking mud.

The tide was pretty low and going out fast when I started into the canals. It wasn’t long before I could no longer paddle my kayak, and I had to get out and drag it behind me, as I was sinking up to my armpits. I had to work for every inch of progress, and I had a long way to go.

After three hours of grueling effort, I came out on the other side. I then had to empty my kayak and clean it from bow to stern, and clean myself from head to toe. That was the only respite I got, because after I got everything rinsed off and got my gear repacked, I had to paddle 2.5 miles (4 km) against the incoming tide and a 15 mph (25 km/hr) headwind.

I was already exhausted when I started my paddle. By the time I arrived home, I was famished and thoroughly exhausted. I took my dog for a walk, fed him, made myself something to eat, and fell asleep on the sofa.

I had a great time. I’d definitely do it again, but maybe without the biting flies harassing me, and after I’m in better physical condition. It sucks when you can’t put on insect repellant or sunscreen from your neck down without it getting washed off in the mud.

Dinks Wit Kinks Video Podcast

I was a guest on John Dondero’s Dinks Wit Kinks video podcast on June 24. We talked about bondage, quicksand, and where it all started. The vodcast was live, but you can watch it any time on Twitch.tv.

Personally, I think it went pretty well. I screwed up my “worlds longest pun” and I failed to mention the Two Knotty Boys as a great source for knots and ties that can be used for rope bondage, but otherwise, it was an entertaining exchange of ideas and experiences. We didn’t spend a lot of time talking about mud/quicksand, so you might be disappointed if that’s all you want to hear about. On the other hand, if you want some background on me and my kinks, it could be a good time. The people who watched it live seemed to enjoy it.

Trip Report for the First Day of Summer

June 21, 2022, John Marsh sets out to cross a treacherous swamp but he is never heard from, again.

Well, not really, but I did make another quicksand movie. I didn’t really know what to shoot, today. I was pretty sure the low tide wouldn’t be ideal. However, I needed some fresh air and exercise. You can watch my short highlights (mostly outtakes) video for an overview of my trip. After the quicksand video, I changed into the translucent latex and took another dip. I really didn’t have a plan, so I plumbed the depths of the peat mud and finally resorted to torturing my genitals while getting very messy.

New Bondage Clip

I never know whether to post the bondage clips here or in my bondage store, but this one is definitely a muddy clip, so I think it’s good here. In case you don’t read any further, I want to point out that the video clip attached to this post is not the teaser for the new bondage clip; it is a highlights clip from 6/14 that includes the bits from the official teaser, and more that is not in the self bondage clip.

Self Bondage Torment in the Swamp

So, in this clip, I hogtie myself on camera (with edits to speed things up), then I slide into the muck and begin my first struggle. The hogtie struggle is the longest one. At the end of the hogtie bit, I do drag myself out of the mud and then I show off my muddy crotch with my happy cock.

I go back into the mud with my wrists tied behind my back and my ankles tied to my genital tether which is shorter in this setup. I can’t slide all the way into the muck and my ankles are held up, so it’s harder to keep my head from going under, although I did dunk my head a few times in the first scene.

After the second struggle, I play with my muddy cock in front of the camera, and finally, I untie my ankles while I’m mostly swallowed in deep, black mud. I get to show off my muddy feet for the camera just as the clip ends. The other scenes also feature pretty good shots of muddy feet.

Hot Day in the Swamp

The tides are still not cooperating, but yesterday (June 14, 2022) the morning high tide was lower than usual so I bet on a reasonably low tide to follow. With the “Strawberry” super moon event comes unusually high tides, but that can also mean some wonderful low tides. In this case, I did get a pretty good low tide (nothing to write home about) just before the tide shot up to about 50cm above normal.

It was a really hot day, so getting immersed in the mud just seemed like the thing to do. If the tides hadn’t cooperated, I might have taken a dip in the clay pit. I arrived in the swamp about an hour early, and I had no idea what I wanted to do for fun. I really needed some new video, but I was completely uninspired. I finally decided to hogtie myself and slide off the bank and into the black mud. Just to make it interesting, I tied my genitals to a post on the bank so I would be unable to spin around in the mud without tugging on them.

After my hogtie I tried some other bondage configurations that involved being partially suspended by my cock and balls on the edge of the sloppy, black swamp mud with my wrists tied behind my back. I assembled a gallery of frame grabs; mostly crotch shots, until I can put together some video. The images will give you an idea of how I spent most of my time. I’ll admit, it was painful at times, but it made me horny and I enjoyed squishing around in the wet stuff.

The Last of May 25 Video

You’ve already seen the preview to this new clip. It is a compilation of the remaining bits after I edited the head-first clip and the quicksand clip. There was a lot of video in between the head-first scenes, especially since I had to clean up between dives. I wallowed, stroked myself, cleaned up a few times, and pretty much made the most of my time in the mud. Everything I shot before the quicksand scene was in a revealing, translucent, latex brief. After that I changed into my rubberized, black briefs.

Mud Pit Update

I’m just going to post a couple still frames and a short video to keep you up-to-date on the state of the mud pit. We got some rain, so I was out there, stirring the water into the deeper layers of mud that had thickened and dried out over the winter.

I also added some shredded leaves earlier in the year and I’ve been trying to stir those into the overall mix. I’m not sure how that’s going to work out, but I’m hoping they will compost into something like peat mud. I’ll probably need a lot more, and a few years of composting to get it the way I want it.

Trip Notes from May 30

Notes, pictures, video … whatever. I didn’t have a very good low tide on May 30, but I had been wearing latex briefs all day and it was hot. That means the inside of my briefs was very wet and slippery and it was making me horny. I figured, if I couldn’t find any deep mud, I could at least, find somewhere to get covered in mud and masturbate. It turns out, I got in really deep, masturbated, and went completely under with my ankles lashed tightly to my genitals. Not having your legs to help with resurfacing, and having them tied such that they become an impediment to resurfacing makes the whole thing a lot more interesting.

I grabbed some still frames from the video, because I have to reduce the qualify of the actual video to share it here, for free. It’s nice when you can see the higher quality stills. I shot everything on my new action cam that you guys helped me pay for. Although my Lumix shoots better quality, I just can’t do some of the things with the Lumix that I can do with a waterproof camera that doesn’t require focusing.

The Other Video

New Quicksand Clip

Help! I’m in Quicksand is now available to purchase. This “quicksand” clip … more accurately “quickmud” … features a unique performance in which I struggle to stay afloat and call out for help. Of course, help does not arrive and I am eventually exhausted by my struggles and I succumb to the sucking mud.

The weather was very much in my favor, also. It was a cloudy day, which makes for more even lighting, and I had a long-lived low tide.

This clip also features a slow but steady immersion. It’s tricky to go under slow and steady when you can no longer breathe. Although I was literally gasping for air, I tried really hard to make it look like I was being pulled down by the treacherous muck. After I disappear completely, you see my hands come up for a moment, then it’s just the quaking mud and bubbles.

Speaking of quaking mud, that’s something I tried to emphasize with this movie. When I was struggling to stay afloat, I was sweeping my arms and rocking my body to keep the mud in motion as much as I could.

I’m not sure if this clip turned out to be the best ever quicksand clip, but I think it’s up there in the top 10, for sure. I hope someone enjoys it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Excursion into the Swamp, and new clip

I published a new clip, this morning, that was based on a special/custom request from a fan. He purchased the latex and asked me to do some head-first shots, including some with a breathing tube and some dives. It was a cool day, so I could only return to the water and clean up about 5 times before my core temperature dropped enough that I just didn’t want to do it, again. So, I got in two takes of the head-first with breathing tube idea, and two clean dives. I added in some additional inversion scenes to add some length to the video. It’s also priced a bit high for a 5 minute video because it was a lot of work to shoot.

The entire trip was an adventure. I am just not getting out enough to stay in condition for the level of exertion that is required to paddle against the wind and the current for 2.5 miles (4 km) one way, hack a trail through the swamp grass with a machete, get in and out of the deep mud about 7 times, and paddle back (against the current, again, because the tide that was going out was now coming in!). My muscles are still sore, today, and I have blisters on my hands from paddling. It’s mostly because I’m just not getting out enough. Hopefully, that will change.

The really exciting news is that I might have shot the best quicksand video I’ve ever produced. It’s not edited, but the scene has much promise. If you’re a “death by quicksand” fan, you should look forward to that one.
