The tides are still not cooperating, but yesterday (June 14, 2022) the morning high tide was lower than usual so I bet on a reasonably low tide to follow. With the “Strawberry” super moon event comes unusually high tides, but that can also mean some wonderful low tides. In this case, I did get a pretty good low tide (nothing to write home about) just before the tide shot up to about 50cm above normal.
It was a really hot day, so getting immersed in the mud just seemed like the thing to do. If the tides hadn’t cooperated, I might have taken a dip in the clay pit. I arrived in the swamp about an hour early, and I had no idea what I wanted to do for fun. I really needed some new video, but I was completely uninspired. I finally decided to hogtie myself and slide off the bank and into the black mud.
