More video from 2014

It’s not likely that I’ll be able to shoot any video for another week, so I went back to my video editing notes from 2014 and looked at the list of videos I shot in 2014 that haven’t yet been edited. I found 2 that were similar themes. They were both long enough to make clips from, but I decided I’d edit them into a single clip and hack them down to the best parts.

2014-07-18_bondage1200x900Coincidentally, these clips were shot exactly 1 month apart. The white thong bondage was shot on July 18 and the black speedo bondage was on August 18. In both clips, I rigged myself to be partially suspended from the bamboo pole over the peat mud. In both clips I end up with my head under the mud. I had a breathing tube in one, but not in the other. Although I did the rigging a bit different each time, I still had a serious struggle getting free. Most of the really good struggling made it into the video, even though I removed a lot of footage. Those real struggles to escape from a precarious, inverted predicament were too good to leave out.

2014-07-18_desperateI got pretty hard while editing and reviewing this clip. I’m surprised I made it through without a “break”. The ordeals definitely gave me some ideas for when I return to that spot, this year. I’ll have to make sure I can escape eventually. Maybe I’ll use an ice timer so I have no choice but to struggle until the ice cube melts and releases me.

2014-07-18_hungThe clip ended up being 30 minutes long. The last 2 minutes feature a little posing and some cleanup video. There is a short setup shot in the opening, just to set the scene. After that, the clip is pretty much non-stop struggling. I suppose I should also mention that my muddy, bound feet are featured quite prominently in this clip; in case there are any muddy foot lovers among us.

Spring Weather

GOPR0075Well, the weather is mild, but still quite cool. I wanted to go mudding this morning, but it was around 50F (10C), and I just couldn’t bring myself to get naked and wet before lunch at such chilly temps. The forecast is calling for highs of 70F (21C), early next week. I’m anxious to get back out to the swamp, while the low tides are still reliable. As we approach summer, great low tides are less frequent.

I have a couple movie ideas in the pipe. Someone asked me about movies where I went under, willingly, so I went looking for some examples. I found that I generally struggle against the sucking mud, which eventually overcomes me, or I dive in head first. There seems to be a dearth of clips in which I just walk out into the mud and let it take me down. The clip I just released comes close to that, as I stop to pleasure myself after sinking to my shoulders in that clip. However, the mud was too thick to go under without a prolonged struggle. So, I’m going to visit my “pudding mud” location and willingly submit myself to the will of the quickmud.

The next clip I need to do is volume 2 in the yellow thong series. That one will be an erotic masturbation clip, so it’s going to require some warm weather. The water is pretty warm, so we just need a nice, 80 degree day (27C) so I can lay in the warm mud and get myself off.

clay-suspensionBeyond those 2 clips, I know Andy wants another white t-shirt clip, but I’m not sure how that will play out. I’m always open to ideas for clips, but please keep in mind, it’s usually just me out there. Sometimes I get someone to operate a camera, and in even rarer cases, I get another mud actor. If your idea requires more than one person, it’s going to get put on my idea list for when and if I get another person who is willing and able to play a part in a mud video. Generally, when I find someone to operate a camera, I use them for a bondage video, since I love to be bound for mud play, but it’s really difficult to bind myself hand and foot, and even more difficult to operate the cameras once I’m helplessly bound.

The 2015 mud season is looming. I’d love to hear from you. I hope you are also enjoying your local mud holes, wherever you are. I know you Aussies are coming to the end of your season. I hope it was a great season for you.

April 12 Clip Released

2015-04-12_swamp1200x900It’s difficult to name these clips without using the same names, over and over. In this clip, I step into the mud, wearing only latex briefs. I struggle against the grip of the thick mud for a while. Then I succumb to the erotic nature of my predicament. Eventually, the slow and steady onslaught of the mud overtakes me and I descend below the depths.

The clip lasts about 20 minutes. The only problem with the clip is the wind noise, but it’s not too disruptive. I should have set up a separate mic with a good wind screen for the audio, but hindsight is 20-20, as they say. I wouldn’t put the clip in my store if it were terrible. You can still hear me, muttering about the depth and veracity of the mud, and you can hear the bubbles and mud sounds. The wind is intermittent.

First Immersion Clip of 2015

2015-04-10_swamp1200x900I took the plunge on April 10, with my wrists and ankles bound. I nearly sank out of sight as I splashed down into the sloppy mud. I struggled in earnest to maneuver myself out of the bottomless muck, and I did manage to slip my wrists over my hips and get them in front of me. I dove down under the mud to free my ankles, but in the end, I still sank out of sight with my bound wrists above my head.

Sadly, the final immersion was not a smooth as most of my disappearing acts. There is always that point where I have to catch my breath and make a somewhat obvious effort to go completely under, but in this video, it’s terribly obvious, because I didn’t have my arms under the mud to drag myself down, slowly.

I Love the April Tides

2015-04-12_mudThe weather is still a little bit on the cool side when you factor in the breeze. However, the low tides are amazing, so I ventured out this morning to see how deep I could go. I picked a new spot, close to one of my regular spots. It turned out to be a pretty good trip. I got cold before the end of the low tide, but I did manage a total immersion in some great mud.

Before I forget to mention it, I created a 2015 photo gallery, and I just added a short video from April 10 when I was posing for pictures.

2015-04-12_beforemudI’m afraid the audio won’t be very good on the video I shot, today. It was rather breezy, and I used the JVC to record video and audio. I was overly optimistic in hoping the grass would protect the camera from most of the wind.

I paddled out in the briefs pictured on the right, but I changed into latex briefs for my sink (top left). The mud was soft on top and very thick on the bottom. As long as I pumped my feet, I continued to sink. The thick mud gripped my legs well enough that I wouldn’t pop back up.

I’m about to release the video from April 10. It’s almost ready, so you’ll definitely see it this week. I might also release the red speedo video from last week.

Posing

Posing in the swamp with a machete, wearing black briefsI had to get up early to catch the low tide, this morning. I almost didn’t get up in time, because I was up late last night; I did a really strict self bondage from which I could not escape until my timer released me. It was intense.

The wind was gusting pretty strong, so I have concerns for my audio recording. The wind also made it a little cool, but the sun was warm. I stopped to pose for photos when I arrived. What can I say? I’m 50 years old and I work hard to stay conditioned. Can you tell?

I did my first immersion of the year, and I recorded a video of it. I expect the video to be alright if the audio isn’t too bad. I fell backwards into the muck with my ankles and wrists bound. I pretty much disappeared into the mud, right out of the gate, so you don’t see much of me in the video. It’s probably a good thing I took photos, first.

New Quicksand Clip

2015-04-08_quicksand1200x900This is not just a new quicksand clip, it’s my first real quicksand clip. Wet Jeans in Quicksand  is more of a “struggling in tight, wet jeans” clip, since I only sink about knee deep in the sand. However, the struggle is 100% real. About the only thing that is staged is that I did it twice, to make the video longer, and edited it all together as one struggle. I added 1.5 minutes of out-takes at the end, because there were some great scenes I had to cut, and the clip was very short.

The description I put on Clips4Sale is pretty good:

This clip features real quicksand. Quicksand is not really deep, but it sets like concrete around a body, trapping the victim in an inescapable grip. In this clip, Doug is exploring in super-tight, wet jeans, a cropped white tee shirt, and boots. He pauses a little too long and finds himself sinking into the sucking sand. When he stops sinking, he finds he cannot move his legs. A sincere, and real struggle ensues, as Doug fights to escape the grip of the treacherous sand.

I sure hope someone enjoys this clip. I had fun making it, and I spent way too much time editing it.

Quicksand!

_DJT4631wmToday, I revisited the quicksand. It was a fun trip, but the quicksand wasn’t very deep. It might be a good thing that it wasn’t much deeper, because I got pretty well struck, a couple of times. That sand sets pretty hard, and it isn’t easy getting it to let go, when you can barely move. Fortunately for anyone who wanted to see the pictures and/or video, I stayed at it until I loosened the sand enough to escape.

The softest and deepest quicksand was just below the surface of the water, but I think the cameras captured the essence of the predicament. It was a pretty easy scene to shoot, as I could walk across the quicksand easily, there was a constant supply of fresh, clean water flowing past, and I had a large, sandy area in which to spread out.

2015-04-08_stuckThe video might be interesting to the people who enjoy seeing a man stuck in a sand trap. I wish I could have stayed stuck a bit longer, but I really didn’t know how long it would take me to break free, or how long I could stay there without moving, before I would be stuck there for a lot longer than I planned. I knew, when I went into the quicksand, that I was flirting with disaster, but I didn’t realize just how tight and hard the sand would set around my legs, and how difficult it is to quicken the sand when your legs are anchored in what feels like concrete.

Needless to say, it was a great time. Any adventure that ends well is a great adventure.

Busy, Busy, Busy

2015-04-02aThis update is a little late. I was out last week on Thursday and I stopped by my peat mud hole to see how it weathered the winter. I hadn’t really planned to sink, because it was getting late, but the peat mud looked so good, I had to jump in for a quick struggle. I did shoot some video on the GoPro, but I didn’t set up an audio recorder, or my main camera. The images in this post are from the GoPro video.

2015-04-02bI went out, again today, but I went out at high tide to paddle around and explore the upper reaches of a small creek. I inadvertently found some quicksand that was about crotch deep. I don’t know if I could make a video in that spot, but it was kind of fun, getting swallowed, unexpectedly, by the harmless looking sand. I’m pretty sure this won’t be the last you’ll hear about that spot. I will have to go back there, sometime, just for the novelty of it. Next time, I’ll get some video.

In any case, I’m doing pretty well. The weather is warming up. The forecast is for temperatures in the 80’s tomorrow (26+ Celsius). The low tide tomorrow will be pretty late, so I doubt I’ll do much in the mud, but I might go out in my kayak if I have nothing else I need to do.

First 2015 Video Release!

2015-03-31_promo-altIt may not be the muddiest video I’ve ever produced, but it’s the first one for 2015 and I’m excited about it.

The video opens when I disembark from my kayak, barefooted, wearing a black t-shirt and blue, nylon shorts. I drag my boat up and proceed to explore a muddy channel that looks promising.

After exploring the channel, and sinking about thigh deep in a couple of spots, but mostly walking in mud that was about knee deep, I return to my kayak. I then take my kayak up the larger channel and drag it over some rather deep mud. I used the boat to keep from sinking too deep, because it’s really hard to walk when you’re up to your armpits in mud.

2015-03-31_slog1600x1200In the last segment of the video, I am no longer wearing my t-shirt, and I’m pushing the boat back out to the water. The camera is close in on my muddy crotch as I struggle to navigate the thick, black mud that insists on swallowing my legs at every step.

Mostly Muddy

2015-03-31_thigh-deepThe weather was pretty good today. It was 68 degrees Fahrenheit (20C) and sunny. There was a strong gusty wind that gave me a bit of a chill. The low tide was amazing. It was low from the time I set out on the water until after I returned to my car. That was about 3 hours, and it was really low, too! I’m afraid that doesn’t happen often, and sadly, I didn’t take full advantage of it.

This past winter turned me into a wimp. I just didn’t want to be cold. So, I explored the spot I wanted to explore and I slogged through some rather deep mud. I sank in just past my navel, and I had a good struggle. I shot video of most of my adventure, using just the GoPro. I was on the move the entire time, so it was impractical to set up the Nikon and the audio recorder. Which means the audio in the video is muted. The gusty wind would have messed with the audio, anyway.

2015-03-31_knee-deepThe spot I set out to explore wasn’t very deep. It sure looked good, but it varied from knee deep to upper thigh deep.

I’ve already edited the GoPro video, and I must say it’s pretty sexy, even though I only sank up to my waist on camera. There was some good struggling, as I dragged my boat through some thick, deep mud, and there are some good muddy-crotch shots. I’ll probably release the video soon, because it’s the first one of the season.

Exploring

_DJT4343The weather forecast today was for rain and thunderstorms, but it was looking pretty safe around 10:00 this morning, and low tide was around 11:00. I figured I wouldn’t get time to play, but I wanted to have a look around and take a short stroll through the bog, if nothing else.

The weather was threatening the entire time I was out. You may notice raindrops hitting the water in a couple of the photos in this post. As it turned out, I got home before it really started pouring.

_DJT4329After walking around in the swamp grass and inspecting a few locations for future “in-depth” exploration, I stripped off my jeans and set up my Nikon to take a series of photos at 10 second intervals. A video would have been boring, and I never seem to get decent high resolution photos, so this was my chance to roll the dice on some still photos. It was sprinkling, so I had to keep my shoot short. Out of the 15’ish photos the camera snapped, I found a few I liked. My favorite is in the upper left corner of this post. At 16 mega-pixels, you can count the threads in my nylon shorts.

_DJT4323Speaking of nylon shorts, the shorts I wore are some boys bike shorts I bought a long time ago that I modified to be much shorter. I had worn them in a couple of mud videos, and I’ve always liked the way they fit, but I don’t like long shorts. So, I spent a couple of those long, dark winter nights, tailoring them to make them more my style.

The last photo is just a wide shot of the area I was exploring. There is some great mud around there. I can’t wait for a nice day to dig a little deeper. 🙂

Setbacks

Well, I was optimistic, and the weather is really warming up fast. Today would be a perfect day to go mudding, if I were in any condition to get into the mud. Sadly, I am not. In my spring enthusiasm, I managed to get a serious case of poison ivy infection. My left leg is a mess. About the time my poison ivy rash was reaching it’s peak, I managed to burn myself pretty badly on my face and left arm. That’s a long story that I’d rather not get into. If I hadn’t survived, I could have won a Darwin award.

In any case, I’m missing a beautiful week with excellent low tides, because my skin has been compromised and I can’t risk a serious infection. It looks like I’ll get to edit more of that old video from 2014, after all. I am sad that I must wait for my body to recover, but I’m grateful that my injuries were not worse. I look pretty bad, but I should have a full recovery if I don’t do anything else stupid.

Sorry, I don’t have any pictures for this post. I’m such a mess, I’d have to be fully clothed, and hide my face.

Warmer Weather has Arrived

GOPR0040aThe weather has warmed significantly in the past 10 days. I ventured out, yesterday morning, to clear some log jams in the creek, and slog around a bit in boots and tight jeans. I wasn’t ready to dive into the bottomless mud and swim in the cool water to clean up, just yet. It wasn’t quite that warm.

I shot a lot of video, as I cleared logs from the creek in my tight, wet jeans. The video is sexy, in my opinion, but it’s G rated, so I put it on my DailyMotion page. I’m still working out what to do with my kayaking videos that don’t fall into the fetish category, but may still be of interest to some people, here. I hate that the video sharing sites decimate the quality of my videos. The only one I’ve found that retains most of the original quality is Vimeo.

GOPR0024aI shot some video while I was slogging around in some shallow mud. The still frames here are from that video. It turned out the mud wasn’t as deep as it looked, so it was just a brief diversion from my mission to clear logs from the creek.

GOPR0026bToday is a busy day for me, so I may not get a chance to edit video. However, I hope to put a short video from yesterday on my web-site (free), and I still have some old video to edit and release. I need to get all of the 2014 videos finished before I start shooting new video in 2015. Otherwise, they will be archived and lost forever.

I can’t wait to get back out there, and it could be any day, now. I’m thinking there is a 50/50 chance that I’ll be shooting some mud video on Saturday (March 14).

Tight Jeans, Bondage, and Deadly Mud

This clip opens as I enter the creek with my wrists tied behind my back, wearing tight jeans, and a white cropped t-shirt. I manage to evade my captors by walking in the water, where I leave no discernible trail. The bottom of the creek starts getting muddy, so I struggle back onto high ground. I don’t get far before I come to an expanse of mud that I must cross. I don’t get more than a couple of steps in the thick mud, before I get bogged down and begin a slow descent into the thick, bottomless quick-mud.

I might have had a chance of escaping that mud if I could have freed my wrists, but the ropes that were holding them behind my back were too tight. After a long struggle and a slow, relentless descent, the mud closes slowly over my face as I disappear below the surface, forever. Actually, there is one final scene, as  I stand, thigh deep in the mud, wondering out loud how I’m going to actually get myself out of the sticky black goo.
