The wind has changed direction, which means I have a great shot at a low tide this afternoon. I also just received a new thong that just barely covers much of anything (pictured). I also have a new stereo microphone for the camera I’ve been using lately to shoot swamp videos (too boring to picture).
Unless something happens, I’m heading into the swamp this afternoon. Hopefully, I’ll return with some great video and maybe some exciting stories.
Hi Doug,I think a good choice this red very sexy thong (or string ).Hope you show it in the swamp you have planned. With all the new things the video will be succesful and hope exciting.
Hennie.
I second Hennie Frans suggestion. Great choice…always have much fun when I wear a posing strap like this one for some wallowing.
And…a superbly sexy photo of the posing strap!!!
I’m not sure if you noticed what I did, there. The sun was rather high in the sky, so I sat in a white chair to get light to bounce off the chair into the areas that would otherwise have been in shadow.
Regardless of what they say about me, I’m pretty good with lighting. 🙂
I did go into the swamp today, and it was a pretty successful trip. I enjoyed some really great mud. I had a lot of time, thanks to a very low and extended low tide, and I got lots of video; even a very brief shot of an alligator!
Hi Doug; Good lord dont flash red at a gator, its like waving a red towel at a bull, just joking. Nice pic and the lighting was great. Good Job.
I tried talking to a large alligator that was sunning itself on the bank, but it scurried off with a splash. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but they seem to want nothing to do with me.
It looks like the wind direction is really important in predicting the tide level in my creek. We should have had a pretty high, high tide due to the nearly full moon, but we didn’t, so I was watching the tide drop (I now have a real-time gage on-line that I can monitor). Sure enough, the wind was out of the NNW (unusual for summer), and the tide fell to -1.15 where I haven’t seen anything lower than a -0.8 in weeks.
So, I not only had a really low tide, but it lasted for 2 hours. That is a rare event, these days.
