Even though the low tide was going to be very close to sunset, I ventured out in search of some deep mud. I arrived before low tide, in order to have a little extra time. I started out shooting some scenes for my documentary.
For my feature video, I paired a cropped white t-shirt with the blue lace-up swimsuit. I had a very ambitious plan for shooting a dramatic scene, but it turned out to be a little too ambitious.
I still managed to shoot some interesting video, have some fun, and get covered in mud. I got cleaned up, just as the sun was setting, and I got back to my car while there was still some light left in the sky. Although it was a close call, I’m glad I went out. It’s going to be a few days, at least, before my next opportunity to catch a low tide during daylight hours.
I’m adding a couple more images to the 2014 gallery and I’ll be releasing a new video, soon.
Hi Doug
I’m intrigued
But love the sinking outfit
Looking forward to seeing you in the deadly mantrap
Thanks for the comment, Andy. It did not go as planned. The video is fun to watch, but the setup story was lost.
I’m sure I’ll enjoy it
