This morning, when I was checking the tide tables, I looked at the wrong tide table. Consequently, I went out about 3 hours early. When I got out to the swamp, the tide wasn’t very low (I didn’t know I was early), but I had a plan to shoot a video in a t-shirt, jeans, and rubber boots. I had a lot of setup shots to do, so I set about doing those, hoping the tide would get lower.
The tide wasn’t dropping, so I headed over to the woods with the peat mud. That setting worked alright for my walking in mud shots, and I figured it would make a natural transition from walking to sinking, if I could do it all in one location.
I finished my movie in rubber boots and I went back to the creek to wash up. When I got to the creek, I discovered that the tide had gotten a couple inches lower. That’s when I realized that I must have used the wrong tide table. Looking at the tide level, and my watch, I realized my error. However, that just meant that I had more time to play in the mud. I was thinking of packing up and moving to another spot, then I thought, why not stay there and play in the peat mud, some more.
I went back into the woods, wearing only a white bikini bottom, and continued to play in the awesome peat mud. I took some ropes and did some bondage, because that’s my favorite spot for bondage in mud. It’s the only spot I have in the swamp where there are trees to which I can tie things. I recorded some of my bondage adventures. It wasn’t long before I lost interest in keeping up with the camera, and just had some dirty fun.
When I went back to the creek to clean up for the second time, the tide was even lower. It was now just after 3pm, and I had been mudding for several hours. I almost went back into the woods to play some more, but I was getting pretty hungry and tired. I finished cleaning up and headed back home. When I got home, I ate everything I could find that was edible, and I drank a liter of water and a class of orange juice.
I will sleep well tonight, after my protracted swamp saga. I’ve got a video shoot at 06:30 tomorrow morning, so I’d better get myself to bed.
