You saw some of the still photos, now you can see the video clip!
This is a silly story that beings with me, beaming in onto a “grassy knoll”. The knoll is covered with marsh grass and surrounded by marsh.
I’m thinking I should have shaved my head, or worn my alien costume for this story, but I wasn’t thinking that far ahead when I went out on February 20. I was really just hoping I’d get to sink.
So, wearing the smallest jean cut-offs ever and a cropped t-shirt, I stepped off the “grassy knoll” and into the swamp mud, in the hopes of making it to solid ground. There wouldn’t be much to report if I had an easy time of it, so you can probably guess that things did not go well. The sad part is that I couldn’t go completely under in the spot I selected. I did manage to get very stuck, and eventually I beamed back to my ship. I’m wondering if one could actually beam out when they are immersed in mud. I considered that the transporter would only take the top half and leave the buried part of me behind. It’s probably a good thing this is make-believe.
The main video ends when I beam back to my ship, but there there is another short scene that mirrors the still images I posted on February 20, followed by some behind the scenes and aftermath segments.
The mud and the water I had to clean up in were both pretty cold, so I was happy to end the movie without going completely under. However, I’m anxious to get totally immersed, so my next clip is pretty likely to include a total immersion scene. The trend is definitely in that direction. My last clip was just muddy boots, and this one was much deeper.
