    Nice shot! Is that still tidal muck?… looks more like peat.

    It’s very close to the high tide mark. At very high tides, it goes under water, but it’s not actually part of the salt marsh. It’s a wooded area, and you’re probably right; it is probably peat, if peat can survive salt water intrusion.

    That mud is sooooo thick! Its a good spot though… I even lost my mud virginity there!!

      Hi Heather, you will have to get with Doug and maybe we can work out something sometime for me to come up and have you guys tie me up naked, and stuck in the mud. You guys keep up the good work. John
