I just wanted to recreate the scene I failed to get, yesterday, but there were complications. First, there was the mostly overcast sky with occasional visits from the sun. That makes it difficult, if not impossible to get a consistent exposure. Then there was water on the clay from my cleanup the day before. In the photo on the left, I’m working the water into the clay with a stick.
Once I had the clay pit ready to shoot, the sun was making blotches on the spot where I would be bound. That too makes for a very poor exposure. Once the sun moved enough that I had pretty decent lighting, I decided I had better set up a reflector, since I would be backlighted by the sun.
Finally, I was satisfied with the ambient light, and the positioning of the reflector. I climbed out on the pole and began tying myself up. No sooner had I committed myself to shooting, and my neighbor started his lawn mower. Either way, I was committed, so I proceeded with my scene.
If all that other stuff wasn’t enough, there were problems with the bondage. I tied myself with a bit less play in the rope, so I could not move as much, and I was a bit sore from the rope abrasions I got around the base of my cock the day before. So, I couldn’t struggle as much because the ropes were tied shorter and because it hurt a bit more than I wanted. Everyone thinks I’m some kind of crazy masochist, but I’m really not a pain slut.
The good news is that the lawn mower wasn’t as prominent in the audio track as I thought it would be. The bad news (like we needed more bad news!) is that I didn’t like the camera angle quite as much as the original one, and the camera tripod was close enough to the pole that it got bumped when I would throw my weight around. (I discovered these things after I finished cleaning up.)
Sigh. I suppose I could try this video one more time. I’m going to have to wait a couple of days, at least, for the abrasions to heal. I suppose I could break down and record the scene with 2 cameras, for better coverage. Then again, the version I shot on Saturday was really good, except that the audio was ruined. And you all thought this stuff was easy!
