The weather was amazing, today. It was more like a summer day, than a late winter day. Spring has arrived. The mud was quite comfortable and the water was only moderately cold.
Once I chose the spot where I wanted to play, I tied my hands behind my back and ventured, unsteadily out onto the shaky beam I have set up over one of my mud holes. I promptly fell from the beam and got mired down in the thick, sucking mud. I struggled to escape, but I couldn’t get out until I managed to free my wrists. I wriggled out, reset the camera, and went back in with my ankles tied to the beam. I dove, headfirst into the mud, a few times, before turning over and sinking, face up, with my ankles still tied to the beam. My only regret is that I didn’t have my breathing tube. The camera got a pretty good recording of the entire adventure. I edited it down to 22 minutes and created a trailer.
