I went camping in the forest Saturday night and Sunday morning I explored some of the nearby swampy areas. I’ve explored down there, before, but I think there is still potential for some interesting mud. I’m pretty sure I’ll not find a place where I can sink really deep, but that doesn’t mean I can’t shoot some kind of adventure there.
If nothing else, it was an excuse for me to dress up as John Marsh and slog around in my favorite boots.
The weather is stormy today and we have a cold front going through, so it will be at least a few days before I can go back out.
