I went out to the swamp, today. It was another tepid low tide, but I went to a spot that doesn’t require that the tide be really low, and I got there early enough that I had at least an hour to play around. I didn’t actually record much on my cameras.
I did record a head-first dive, with and without a breathing tube. I was able to stay inverted for a long time with the breathing tube, because the mud there is pretty thick and it holds you very securely. It took some effort to extract myself.
In this clip, I am hogtied in the mud pit before the pit has been completely filled. My wrists and ankles are tied behind my back. That leaves me in a depression with no way to climb out. I roll around so I can get really muddy and slowly work myself deeper into the black mud. The mud actually has a pretty good consistency. If it was thinner, I would have had an easier time sinking, but it wouldn’t have held me as well. Had it been any thicker, I would have stayed on the top the entire time.
I think it’s a pretty good video. I had to edit it down from 18 minutes to just under 13 minutes, so there are no lulls in the action. By the end of the video, I’ve worked myself pretty deep into the mud and I still haven’t managed to get untied.
This is just to give you a better idea of what went down (and what came back up) on May 6, 2023. Viewer discretion is advised, and this is NSFW. 🙂
(Yet another fan has taken advantage of my trusting nature, so this scene will never be released to the public. I suppose I could give it away, since I shot it with consent, but I’m not that person.)
I took a guest into the swamp with me with whom I’ve had lengthy discussions, first on Twitter, then on the phone, and finally in person. He was a gay man who enjoys full body latex, so we have little in common except a love for mud.
In our early negotiations, before I gave him my phone number, he said he could help me with videos. I explained that he would need to sign a waiver and let me make a copy of his photo-id for me to be able to sell any videos in which he appeared. He agreed to all that, or so I thought, so I gave him my phone number and we continued our negotiations.
His first visit was mostly an orientation, but we talked about how he would need to bring a mask before I could video him. On the second visit, I specifically asked him to bring a mask, so I could shoot video, and he made no objection, nor did he voice any misgivings about being recorded. That turned out to be a 100% waste of time. I could have just enjoyed the mud, myself and probably gotten some video I could have used. Instead, I manned the cameras in the hope of getting something a little different to add to my clips store.
Needless to say, that didn’t work out. My guy reneged on everything we had been discussing for nearly a year. What’s crazy to me, is that he doesn’t see how that feels like a total betrayal. This is just another example of why I am reticent to host anyone, regardless of what they offer.
Well, I was pretty sure the low tide wasn’t going to be much lower than some high tides, but the forecast was for rain and cooler weather for the next week. Furthermore, a recent report found that my coast has had 5 inches (13 cm) of sea level rise in the past 15 years! That just confirms what I already suspected, and it means I will have to adapt my swamp adventures to be less about bottomless mud and more about exploring and just enjoying the swamp. There will still be low tides, but they may not be frequent enough to satisfy my urge to spend time in the swamp.
So, today could be the first of many trips where I don’t find a lot of mud, but I get wet and muddy while I’m enjoying my favorite places and staying in decent physical condition.
I launched from Long Point and I paddled to Hunters Creek with some stops along the way to explore places I hadn’t bothered to explore before. I paddled a little way up a tributary that had great promise, but I decided I wanted to study the satellite view before I spent too much time there. I’m not sure why I’d never bothered exploring it, before.
I arrived at my favorite spot for sinking on Hunters Creek just before the tide reached it’s lowest point. I spent a few minutes there before leaving the creek and heading for the narrow, muddy channel that runs along the edge of the woods, in search of mud above the water line. As is typical of any place that isn’t inundated by the tides, there was poison ivy everywhere, so I had to play Twister to avoid it. I didn’t take the camera with me while I was threading my way through the untouchable weeds. The tide was already coming in when I returned to the water.
As my last hurrah, I sank into some exposed mud on the edge of the creek. That is some really smooth and wonderful mud, but it is out in the open and fishing boats pass there on a fairly regular basis. I prefer to stay out of sight, but today I chanced it, because it was about the only mud I had available.
It was a nice day, and I had a pretty good time. Hopefully, I avoided the poison ivy and it seems I did not get sunburned. I might have a short video from this trip.
The full name is Total Immersion in Red PVC. Although, that title is a little misleading. If it were more accurate, it would read, “Total Immersion While Wearing Red PVC”. I didn’t actually get immersed in PVC; especially not red PVC. I actually got immersed in some disgusting, brown, bottomless swamp muck. It was a pretty basic sink. I stepped into the quagmire in my PVC briefs (red!) and a black crop-top. I struggled a bit as I sank in and I gasped for air as my face was engulfed by muck. As is the new requirement, I fade to black after I sink out of sight and the bubbles stop coming up, but then I fade back in for the resurfacing and the escape. I’m not allowed to make any videos where I appear to drown, so you have to pause the video when it fades to black and don’t watch the rest if you want to maintain the illusion of death-by-quickmud.
You can think of this video as a sort of “before and after” video for the red PVC briefs. You get to see them going in, and you get to see them coming out, although they aren’t visible for most of the clip. If I could find some transparent mud, so you could see me, struggling below the surface, that would be really cool. However, this is what I have to work with, for now.
On 4/21 I made a second trip to the swamp in as many days. The new moon did not disappoint. This time, I got out there before the tide got really low, so I could be there for the duration of the low tide. I had about 75 minutes before the sun was close to setting and I had to pack up and paddle out. At that time, the tide was about to come in, but was still orgasmically low.
Strangely, I didn’t really feel like sinking over my head. Frankly, I was pretty uninspired. So, I wandered around, sinking here and there, exploring some places I haven’t visited lately, posing for some video, and finally doing a little bondage on the post. The bondage got me excited, but it was already getting late and the gnats were starting to get on my nerves.
My first effort at video was sort of an experiment. I wanted to try shooting with the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera (4k), using one of my favorite lenses, just to see what kind of quality I would get. I set up the Lumix to capture a wider view, as the BMPCC was pretty tight. Unfortunately, I had the Lumix set to take still photos, so when I “started” it, it took a single still photo and that was it. So I didn’t get a wide shot or the audio I was expecting. The video from the BMPCC is visually superior, and I might try that again, sometime, but taking that camera into the swamp is risky business. I actually bought a big, wide, heavy kayak (pictured above) just so I could set up one or more cameras on the boat and have a stable platform to avoid mishaps with soft ground.
After that attempt, the tide was still going out. I cleaned up (mostly) and slogged around for a while, shooting video on my action-cam. That video was a huge disappointment, because the camera really didn’t deal well with the late day sun. You can see what I’m talking about in the stills where my skin is badly overexposed (like the one to the right).
I found a spot where the mud was deep, but really thick, and I sunk up to my crotch. The thick mud pretty much stopped me at my crotch, so I played with the idea of teasing my genitals against the mud, as my legs were pretty much stuck. I shot a lot of video of that horny escapade, but I’m still depressed about the video quality. Late day sun should be great for video, but not with my action-cam, apparently.
I kept slogging around, looking for interesting places, but eventually I came back to the post where I have done bondage scenes in the past. I tied my ankles together and tied my genitals to the post. That was a fun struggle, and it played into my darker fantasies as my arms sank deeper and my face got closer to the mud. I stopped short of drowning myself, partly because the damn gnats were biting and I don’t want to be that guy who dies in the swamp and gets eaten by tiny, nearly invisible insects. 😀
One final note: Obviously, I have a lot of video from this trip. All of the stills in this post are from video, except the extreme close up of my crotch in the kayak seat (I have video of that, too). However, I’m not sure what, if any of the video is going to be for sale. I created a 2 minute vlog-style video what I was going to put here, but I decided I need to rethink the amount of video I’m giving away.
No, not that kind of 420 trip. I promise I’ll wear something else on my next trip. I just like those denim shorts. I’ve been wearing them everywhere. Is anyone even reading my blog, anymore?
I had a rather short time in the mud on 4/20 because I arrived late. I’m going to go back out this afternoon (4/21) and try to time it better. Hopefully, there will be another decent low tide. The moon is new, so the moon and sun tides are aligned.
This is the clip from my quick trip on April 18, 2023. I tried to record a little of everything, but the overarching theme of the clip is deep, sloppy mud and full immersion. There are shots of muddy feet and muddy legs, and some crotch closeups; just to keep it real. Check out the teaser below, and find the full clip here: Deep Marsh Mud, 2023-04-18
In a nutshell, April 18 was a really quick trip. I was in and out of the mud in less than 20 minutes. The tide started coming in about 5 minutes after I arrived. Since I had so little time, I just committed myself to getting in really deep, going completely under a couple of times, and doing a couple of inversions. I recorded as much as I could. I’m going to leave you with some still frames to give you an idea of what I experienced. I have already released the video because it was a pretty simple edit.
The low tides have been shamefully inadequate, this week. Today looked like I could find some mud if I was creative and timed it just right. I did what I could and I shot some video. I even managed to do my first total immersion scene of 2023 (unless you could my polar plunge dive on Jan 2 … which wasn’t really an immersion scene).
The vlog below, takes you though most of my trip. When I first arrived at the creek, I had some time to kill as the tide was still going out and it wasn’t nearly low enough, so I posed for some video in my newly tailored denim shorts.
After that, I went to a spot that I knew would not be under water at the current tide level, but I had to clear debris and water from the spot before I could sink (all covered in the video).
Next I changed into a red, PVC brief and did a desperate, feet-first, total immersion. The video only has a brief clip of me, coming back up after going under. That’s about where the camera battery decided to give up and I didn’t have enough going on to bother finding another battery.
Sorry the scenes are so short, but I had to limit the video to 2 minutes. It’s still better than a handful of still frames; just not as much resolution.
This is another clip from last year. This one got buried in my to-do list. I can’t wait to do more of these, because you can really tell, in this video, that I am excited about what I’m doing. 😉
I think I had an erection the entire duration of this clip. There isn’t a minute when I’m not hard. I went into the mud with my ankles tied to my genitals, so I could tease myself as I tried to navigate the mud. However, I didn’t do much navigation, as I got sidetracked on pleasuring myself.
I chopped out a couple of spots that were not very interesting, so the video is under 7 minutes. It’s worth a look. Sorry, I didn’t have time to make a teaser for it. I’ve got a backlog of editing to burn through.
Be sure to check out the video in the previous post before you purchase this clip. This is exactly the same content, but in it’s full HD 1080p quality. It is, in a nutshell, a synopsis of several hours of stirring and rejuvenating the mud pit in the woods.
It’s that time of the year, again. The time when I want to play in my mud pit because the weather is warm but the low tides are not timed right or simply aren’t happening. The catch is that, over the winter, the mud pit kind of dries out at the bottom, so I have to remix the bottom mud with some water to be able to sink all the way down.
I shot a bunch of video of my efforts, over the course of 2 days. I got most of the video on the second day, because the first day my action-cam ran out of space on the SD card and I was already too muddy to go fetch another one.
I edited the video down to 10 minutes. Needless to day, it’s a big job that takes hours, so you don’t get the entire story, but I really tried to hit all the important bits; including my clean-up shower after I quit for the day.
