I was really excited on Saturday (June 6) when I got an idea of something I wanted to try in the mud pit. I had some plans on Saturday, so all I could do was prepare the scene for Sunday. I started shooting my ideas on Sunday morning. I started out with a very simple setup; I just pulled the steel spider web over the top of me as I lied on my back in the mud.
After that, it got more complicated. I tried tying my genitals to the web with the rope that goes through the hard point at the bottom of the mud pit. By capturing the web in that rope and tying it off, I prevented the web from being lifted off of me. I made three attempts using that general idea. I shot video of the second attempt (you can see it in the free clip, below).
Then I switched it up a bit and roped my genitals through the web and directly to the winch above the pit (pictured on the right). I tied my ankles to one side of the web and added a heavy weight on the other side. Those steps probably weren’t necessary, but they added to the weight of the web that was pushing down on me. The combination of the steel, weighted web and having my hips lifted helped force my head under.
The final scene was pretty good, but I only got still photos because the sun was too high in the sky, filtering through the trees, and creating a challenging lighting situation. I had a still camera taking one picture every 30 seconds that I left going for most of the time I was playing.
I might also mention that the briefs I was wearing were actually altered between scenes because I didn’t like the way they fit me. I don’t have a “before” image, but the after image is at the opening of the video. I was pretty happy with my modifications.

Love the red latex brief. Sexy. The video is quite engaging to watch…sexy as all get out! The mud looked really good. Would love to wallow in it.
I managed to squeeze 9 minutes out of the spider web mud pit video. It’s a pretty good 9 minutes, anyway. I hope someone likes it. I intend to shoot the last scene (the one I didn’t record, except for stills) in the near future. It was too good not to get it on video, but I need better light.
Yes, the mud is getting really good. I’ve been working on that pit for years. I’d still like to integrate more organic material, but it’s pretty gooey right now, and I do like it.
