I shot a “quicksand” clip in June of 2022 that got pushed aside by other shooting and editing, since that is my busy time of the year. I finished the edit a while back. Today, I finally got around to publishing it. I must say, it’s not my favorite quicksand clip. My goal was to go under quickly, but that wasn’t possible. There is a 3.5 minute lead up to the fall into the quicksand. I wanted a build up to the feature scene, although I’m not sure that worked very well, either. There are lots of good shots of me in some short sorts, barefooted and wet. Check out the teaser. If you like bare feet in the wild, *and* quicksand, you should love this one. 😉

Did you really like it? I would have published it a while back if I had a better feeling about it. I had a plan for that day and nothing I saw in my video really matched what I was trying to accomplish. I have to remind myself that my fans might like something that I don’t like, but I’m always worried about putting something out there that turns people off.
