After Hurricane Florence

Barefoot, wearing latex briefs, I explore some of the fallen trees in my woods. It’s a disaster that is going to take me a long time to clean up. In the mean time, someone might find this video interesting.

      I have not even put a kayak in the water since Florence. First we had an advisory about bacteria and other pollutants in the water. Then I was just busy, and my back has been complaining a lot about all the lifting and bending I’ve been doing.
      We’re in my favorite time of year for mudding, when the temperatures are more moderate and the water/mud is still warm. I hope I can make a trip, once the flood waters from Michael subside.

      Thank you, Hennie. I’m in the process of cutting up that mess. It’s going to take months, I’m sure.

      p.s. I’m glad you liked the latex. I wanted to make the video at least a little bit interesting, rather than just shooting images of fallen trees.

    Everything ok with you? Out in Hendersonville, friends tell me there was lots of rain and fairly strong winds, but nothing overwhelming.

      We had a little wind an 0.3 inches (1 cm) rain. Some places in the area lost power due to wind, but those were isolated events.
