This is the first of 2 sinks, plus the video I shot while I was slogging around after the sink. The sink goes pretty fast. I fall in and disappear in under 2 minutes. I know, that’s too fast, but I didn’t time it, while I was doing it. Sometimes drowning in quickmud doesn’t go the way you plan it. I do think it was a good immersion scene.
Afterward, I wander around on camera, exploring the depth of the mud and removing logs that are beneath the surface. At one point, my boot gets stuck in the thicker mud on the bottom, and I fall backwards into the soup.
The entire video is only 5 minutes. It’s a pretty short clip. The 2nd sink was a little longer, but I don’t have much to add to it, so the clip will be even shorter. I’m not sure when I’ll be going back to that spot. I did not find any bottomless mud, but I did find some spots that would be suitable for more dramatic quickmud scenes.

Great video! Wonderful consistency to the mud or slurry. That would be something super hot to swim around in, especially in briefs or thongs, etc.. A real turn on watching you sink out of sight. Hope you’ve got more adventures planned for that creek.
That spot is harder to get to, but I’ll go back if there is any interest. It does make a good place to “swim”.
