New Death by Quickmud Clip

2015-07-11_dbq1200x600This is from my trip on July 11. I actually shot a lot of video that day. This is the first of three videos that I may release from July 11.

This was the “feature” video. There isn’t much setup, but the story was that I was wandering into a marshy area and I got a bit lost. All you see in this video is a short walk that ends in a fateful step into some bottomless peat mud. It looked rather harmless, but it sucked me in and I eventually died. It’s kind of a morbid story, really. The great part is that the mud was really thick and free of all surface water. I was doomed from the start.

This video is comprised mostly of a slow sink into thick mud. The video that will follow this one is the re-emergence, and it has more erotic scenes and closeups of the muddy speedo. The 3rd video is an attempt at inverted bondage. The video quality was great, but the mud was probably too thick, so I’m not sure if that video will get published.

Crotch Level Photos

I was trying to recreate a cool image I got on my GoPro last year, but all I got was a bunch of crotch level photos of me, up to my thighs in mud, wearing a speedo. They started out clean, as these things usually do. Then I worked my butt down into that thick mud and took some more photos after I worked myself back to crotch level.

I did shoot some video in between. However, the video was pretty short. After the recent rain, the creek was pretty high, so I was just out wandering around, looking for some photo opportunities.

Saturday Afternoon Swamp

2015-07-11_going-under I could let the video frames speak for themselves. The peat was really thick, thanks to a lack of rainfall. I did a “straight” sink, which was fun, because the mud closed very slowly over my face. I got at least 10cm below the surface while I still had an open tunnel to breath through.

2015-07-11_inverted2I had to do some bondage, because that’s usually my favorite bondage spot. Today, the mud was so thick, it was hard to get the full effect of hanging upside down over a mud bog.

The video cameras ran most of the time I was there, so I have a lot of video. The camera angles aren’t always ideal. I was mostly in the frame, most of the time. I haven’t yet listened to the audio files, but I did spot-check them, and they sound good.

The mud had such a great texture, I had to shoot some closeups of my muddy crotch. I hope you’re not tired of those, already. I’m sure there are more to come.

New clip: Swamp Self Bondage

2015-05-26_swamp1200x900I put some parts of this video on deepsinkingguys, so some of you might recognize it. Of course, this is the entire clip and it’s much higher quality than what SocialParody allows.

2015-05-26_muddy-crotchIn a nutshell, this clip is one protracted struggle in the sloppy swamp mud with my ankles tied to my genitals around a piece of lumber. It’s difficult to navigate the mud with one’s ankles tied to one’s genitals, and the piece of lumber makes it that much more difficult. Hence, the struggle. In the first half of the clip, I’m dragging myself around in the large pool of algae covered mud. In the second half, I’m head first and then right side up in a smaller, thicker (but also very deep) mud hole.

I use a breathing tube so I can dive head first and struggle for a while in my inverted state.

Talking to the Camera

2015-07-08_seatedI spent most of my time in the swamp, today, recording for my Making of a Mud Movie, Movie (MMMM). Yes, I’m still working on that. I was planning on doing some quick shots for the MMMM, but when I saw that the tide was taking it’s time going out, I decided to record some more audio for the documentary.

2015-07-08_jeans-no-feetI had some trouble with the card reader on my Nikon. That cost me about 15 minutes of recording time. I figure, though, if I was going to lose a clip, the clip I lost wasn’t the worst one to lose, by any measure. I cleaned the card reader when I got the camera home. I hope it doesn’t do that, again.

2015-07-08_in-deepAt the end of recording my voice over material, I slid off that bamboo pole and into that deep mud below it. It occurs to me, now, that I could have recorded my voice overs while I was up to my neck in mud. That would be the ultimate “talking head” shot. 🙂

Once I got done with the MMMM, I put away the cameras to head out. It was then that I realized the tide had finally gone out, and it was going to be difficult to get my boat out of there. So, I decided to jump in and enjoy some mud while I waited for the tide to come in. I knew it wouldn’t be more than 20 minutes, and I was right. I did not, however, set up any cameras to record my time-killing tryst with the mud. There wouldn’t have been much to see, anyway. I took my breathing tube and spent at least half my time completely submerged.

On an unrelated note: I uncovered the clay pit for the first time this year, last night. I got in and stirred it up for a while. I managed to get immersed past my nipples in the thick, sticky clay. That clay is really something else. There is no way you can get out in a hurry. I get rather excited by the glued in feeling, but I also get frustrated because I can barely move in it. It’s virtually impossible to get immersed. It was a good time, anyway. I worked the clay a bit and enjoyed a couple of beers.

Clean Predicament Bondage Clip

2015-07-05_bondage1200x900Well, it’s been a while since I’ve set up the cameras to shoot a predicament bondage that wasn’t in the swamp. The weather didn’t cooperate last week for mudding. I’m still hoping to get some early morning mud in the next couple of days. In the mean time, I shot and edited this bondage clip that may or may not interest you. It was a great struggle, and I enjoyed making the clip. It’s really nice to set up cameras in a controlled space, for a change. Personally, I can’t watch this video without getting an erection. New Clip: Terminal Swamp Bondage

2015-05-29_swamp1200x900Under a clear blue sky, the story opens with me, bound in the mud, and unable to push my legs under. With my wrists tied behind me, and my ankles tied to a bamboo pole and to my genitals, I cannot stop my upper body from sinking into the quagmire. This entire clip consists of a 10 minute, futile struggle against gravity and hungry mud. In the end, the mud engulfs my face and there is nothing I can do. It’s really a very sad story, but that’s the nature of my life in the swamp. 😉

Best Predicament, Ever!

2015-06-26_slogging I had to skip a day to give my sinuses a break. Between mowing grass, pollen, and getting muddy water up my nose, my sinuses can get pretty messed up. I slogged back out to the same general area, today, and the tide was very low, and I was late; déjà vu, all over again.

This time I had a plan, and I didn’t leave anything important behind. What I wanted to do was to pick up right where I left off on Wednesday (June 24). I brought a length of bamboo so I could secure myself to the submerged log by my genitals and pull myself as deep as I could go. I wrote a detailed blog entry about the predicament on deepsinkinguys.

2015-06-26_exploringBefore I even got to my spot, I had to stop to explore a pool of mud that I thought was rather shallow. Apparently I hadn’t explored that exact spot, because it turned out to be rather bottomless. Since I wasn’t actually ready to go under, I had to turn back and resume my trip to the designated spot. I have a GoPro video of this little detour, and I sink almost to my nipples. It’s not a bad scene, but I only have the audio from the GoPro, which is mostly useless.

2015-06-26_prep2When I arrived at the submerged log, I had to set my bamboo support in place and tie on my double-ring tightener gizmo. In the photo on the left, I’ve already got the rope secured to my genitals and passed under the log on which I’m standing. I’m about to pass the free end through the double rings so I can pull myself down, but the winding through the rings won’t let me back up.

The predicament itself was intense, and it ended when the tide came in and began to cover me. The video turned out really well, but I’m not sure it will be any fun to watch, because all of the interesting action happens under the mud. Oh well. At least I got to spend almost 2 hours immersed in crazy swamp mud. I don’t know when I’ll be going out, again, but I have a few videos to edit and release, if I ever get around to them. I’ve had a lot of other work to do, this month, so it’s been a slow month for mud videos.

A Really Hot Day in the Swamp

2015-06-24_sweatingI wasn’t really expecting much from the low tide, yesterday, so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the creek to find the tide was quite low. I arrived late, and I forgot my dry bag with my extra clothes and sunscreen, among other things. I didn’t want to load the boat back onto the trailer and drive back home. I had a long sleeve shirt, so I resolved to make the trip without some of my optional gear.

When I got to the canal that would take me to the mud spot, it had very little water in it, so I had to walk my boat a good deal of the way, though waist deep mud. I probably should have kept my shirt on, as my unprotected shoulders burned pretty quickly in the intense sun. You can see the beads of sweat on my body in the photo on the left.

2015-06-24_inverted1I did remember to bring some bamboo pieces to enhance my little bamboo structure, but the twine I planned to use got left behind in the dry bag. I improvised with some cord I had in my boat. After I finished lashing bamboo pieces, the tide was even lower than when I arrived. The only thing to do was to get covered in mud and wait for the tide to come back in. Imagine being forced to hang out in a bottomless mudpit to avoid sunburn while awaiting an incoming tide.

I did have camera gear, but my JVC camcorder had some kind of audio problem that got worse and worse. I think it was heat related, but the audio I was planning to use in the video was pretty much trashed. I have only muted audio from the GoPro.

2015-06-24_legs-spreadIn addition to hanging upside down by my man parts, as pictured on the right, I jumped in the really deep mud and horsed around a bit, while up to my neck in sunblock 2000. I had camera’s running most of the time, but I’m not sure what I’ll salvage from the video. The last thing I did wasn’t on camera. The tide was coming in, and I really wanted to revisit a spot where there is a smooth, strong log, buried deep in the mud that I can just reach to get a rope around it. There, I can use the rope to pull myself under and tie myself deep enough that I can barely break the surface for air. It’s a pretty fantastic experience, and I relished it for a few minutes before freeing myself and loading up the kayak to make my exit.

I put together a teaser/trailer from the video. The audio isn’t very good, but I wanted to share some highlights. I’ll plan to post the video somewhere for people to download.

Catching up!

2015-06-12_after-diveI’ve been pretty busy since my last blog entry. I’m trying to keep up with work while building a new boat trailer and spending some time on the water to stay sane. I went out on June 12 with Stahr to shoot some video of her introduction to the swamp. In order to convince her that it was safe to make a flying leap into the mud, I dove in head first. We had a nice day for mudding, and she had a pretty good time. She didn’t do anything crazy, but she did manage to get pretty muddy.

2015-06-12_setting-upStahr also got some video of me, while I was setting up to shoot her. Is it just me, or do these wide screen swamp photos look really scenic? I think I want to be Crocodile Dundee when I grow up.

2015-06-16_wet-nylonToday (June 16), I went back to the bamboo frame I built on my last trip. I shot some video on my way out there, and I shot some when I was cleaning up, after getting me, my camera gear, and my boat really messy. On my way out, I just stopped to take a dip and cool off in the creek. Although our weather is like July, the creek water is still quite refreshing. By the end of July, the water will be too warm to be effective at cooling me down.

2015-06-16_slogBy the time I arrived at my bamboo, I had had a short swim, and sank in mud up to my chest, while getting my boat to the mud hole. I was a mess before I even got started, and it went downhill from there. I did some bondage. I used my weight to pull me down, and I had my breathing tube so I could stay under longer. As it turned out, the sun was not in a good spot to shoot the video I wanted, so I horsed around for a while, got some less than ideal video, and made a mess of everything. I shot some point-of-view video while hanging from the bamboo by my genitals. It seemed like a nice perspective.

2015-06-16_cleanupI had a rather lengthy cleanup, but I was in no hurry, because the sun was about an hour from setting and it was quite lovely on the creek.

I won’t be back out for a while. We just had a new moon. I won’t be home tomorrow, and after that, the daylight low tides will be in the early morning for a few days and they won’t be very good tides. The good ones will be at night. However, in a week, I’ll probably be back out there.

More Tales of Bamboo

2015-06-09_230aI’ve been working from sun up past sun down, lately. I’m building a new kayak trailer, and it’s taking most of my free time. Today, I made a dash for the swamp. I had some bamboo set aside that I was planning to rig into a low suspension bar over one of my favorite mud-bondage spots. When I arrived at the water, the tide was still going out. I wasn’t sure how low it would get, but I figured I could set up my bondage rig, even if I couldn’t play on it.

2015-06-09_237aAs it turned out, I did get some time to play on it and try some of my bondage ideas. I really wanted to do a partial suspension that involved my wrists, but I figured my chances of getting free before I drown were not too good. I packed my lead weight, so I could get dragged under, but I didn’t have room in the boat for my breathing tube, so I left that in the car. It would have been nice to have it, but there is something to be said for a real struggle to keep breathing; especially a losing one.

2015-06-09_rainTowards the end of my play time, I heard a fishing boat come up the creek and stop at the spot where I clean up. I figured he’d be there longer than I could stay, but then the weather started to look stormy and it began to rain, off and on. That was enough for the fishermen to pack up and leave.

While I was getting cleaned up, it wasn’t really raining, but before I got off the creek, it was coming down pretty hard. I could have done a wet-look video!

New Clip: Deliberate Sinking

2015-05-29_deliberate1200x900Speaking of bad names for clips; I’m holding a clip that I finished editing days ago, because  I can’t think of a good name for it. This, new clip wasn’t difficult to name, because the scene just felt deliberate. I had the Nikon set up and ready to record, and I had some time left to play. I had just rinsed off most of the mud from a previous frolic, and I was just going to crawl across the mud to my spot and sink straight down, while pontificating on the nature of the mud, and rocking my body to make the surface undulate.

So, in a nutshell, that’s the nature of this “deliberate” clip. I don’t go completely under; the mud was too thick, down below. From a visual perspective, it’s a very good clip. The single camera angle pretty much nails it. I didn’t set up a separate audio recorder, so the audio is from the camera. It’s alright, except when the wind gusts.

New Clip & Lazy Mud Adventure

2015-05-28_trashcollector1200x900I released “The Daring Trash Collector II”, today. There are some opening scenes where I fetch trash from some muddy spots, wearing my black latex briefs, and my hat. In the main scene, I paddle up, and wade into some deep mud to get a plastic bag, but I don’t make it before I get stuck. After a valiant struggle, the thick mud engulfs me.

Now that we’ve got business out of the way. I did manage to go out on the creek and take in some mud, today. I didn’t shoot any video clips. I just spent a couple hours enjoying the creek, the mud and lots of sun. I probably didn’t use enough sunscreen.

Today was probably the last of the really low tides that I’ll be able to exploit in this moon cycle. There may be one more opportunity, tomorrow, but I probably have too much work to do in the office to get out. I hope everyone had a nice weekend.

Friday Afternoon Escape

2015-05-29_nikon2Today was actually a pretty busy day, but I managed to slip out this afternoon and get to the swamp about an hour after the ideal time, but soon enough to enjoy some deep, warm mud. It was a pretty hot day.

When I arrived, I set up 3 cameras to capture what I hoped would be a great mud struggle. I haven’t looked at the video, so I’m not sure how that worked out. The images I’m using in this post are actual photos from my Nikon; not frames from a video! It’s a rare treat to work with high resolution, digital raw images, rather than low res, highly compressed video.

2015-05-29_nikon1I had a great time today, although I didn’t have as much time as I had yesterday, thanks to my late arrival, and a stiff wind out of the south-east. The tide got really low, so I had access to all kinds of mud.

It’s been a really busy day, and I still have lots of things to do, so I’m not going to describe my video. I’ll describe the video when I release it; assuming it comes out alright. I think I’ll have some interesting stuff.

Another Great Low Tide

2015-05-28_tr1We had another awesome low tide, today. I got to enjoy some of it, but I had other priorities that cut into my time in the swamp. I did shoot a clip, today. I didn’t set out to shoot another trash collector clip, but there was trash, and I was wearing black latex briefs. How could I not grab some shots as I walked out into the mud to fetch trash?

2015-05-28_tr2Of course, the final scene was staged, and it did not end well for our friendly trash collector. After I finished my mini movie, the tide was still low and I was pretty horny, after going all the way under in mud that was about as thick as it could be and still allow me to go completely under in a full vertical pose.

2015-05-28_cockplayI lied on the mud and stroked my penis for a while, then I gathered my equipment and went in search of something to get tied to. I didn’t find what I was seeking, but I did find a muddy hill that would carry my weight as long as I didn’t try to stand up.

2015-05-28_tyingIt was then that I got a call about a web-site problem that had to be addressed as soon as I could get back to the office. I was all ready to tie myself up on the muddy hill and struggle until the mud swallowed me. I decided I’d tie myself and struggle for a few minutes before I cleaned up and headed back to civilization.

Sadly, the GoPro battery was almost dead, so it only recorded the first minute. I wriggled myself pretty deep with my wrists and ankles bound before I had to go. Although there is no video this time, I plan to rerun this idea with some enhancements and at least 2 cameras. It was pretty intense.
