It was hard to get away. I&#8217;ve been working 7 days a week, lately. I actually had to slip out between tasks. I was lucky I could time my trip with low tide. The tide wasn&#8217;t really low, but it was low enough to expose some thick, deep mud in one of my favorite spots. I decided to approach the mud, head first, and use a breathing tube so I could stay under for a while. It was really nice to be back in the mud, after several weeks away. I have to get out as much as I can in the next couple of weeks.
