I spent a few hours, exploring the swamp, yesterday. It was a strenuous slog with a heavy backpack and my moccasin boots. At one time, I got in up to my crotch and I could not move my legs. The mud was very thick and I just couldn’t break it’s grip. I ended up sinking about waist deep before I finally managed to escape.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to getting stuck, I found myself struggling to pull my boots out of the thick mud, over and over again. It was a desperate slog, but I had a lot of fun and I think I found some new places to shoot some drama. I doubt I’d ever be able to do a “quicksand” scene out there, but there is a lot of potential for perilous drama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m pretty sure I’ll be publishing more than one clip from this adventure. There will definitely be a very real “stuck” clip, because I was genuinely stuck. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n
