On April 1, I went out to explore a new spot as the sun was nearing the horizon. By the time I got there, the sun was about to set. I used my selfie-stick and my action cam to record my walk over some very unpredictable, treacherous terrain. I was wearing my moccasin boots (a new favorite) and some cute, and very short, jean shorts.<\/p>\n\n\n

Unfortunately, when I got to the really deep stuff that would have probably swallowed me whole, it really was starting to get dark and the swamp really is not a good place to spend the night; especially when you’re wet and muddy from head to toe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I had to turn around after sinking a little past my crotch on the edge of the abyss, and slog my way back to high ground and then to a nearby stream to get rinsed off.<\/p>\n\n\n

It was an interesting adventure, however brief, and I think the video turned out well. I barely edited it. Actually, had it required much editing, I don’t know when I would have had time. I’ve been really busy in the office. This is going to be a rough year. I might have to shoot videos that I don’t need to edit; at least not very much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
