The weather is warming up; maybe a bit faster than it should be. I went out kayaking, today. I was hoping to catch a low tide and explore some more of my swamp. The wind really screwed with the tides, so I mostly spent my time exploring. Sometimes I get lucky and I find a new spot.<\/p>\n\n\n

The shorts I was wearing are some new cutoffs I tailored to fit me just the way I like. I’ve been wearing them a lot, but this was their first trip into the swamp.<\/p>\n\n\n

I stopped a couple times to take some photos. First I took some photos of me, then I got some pretty decent photos of a large alligator, sunning himself on the bank. I recorded video on my action-cam. As usual, the best bits didn’t get recorded because I ditched my gear to explore some terrain that was very difficult to navigate.<\/p>\n\n\n
