\"2015-09-10_aftermess\"<\/a>I have some regrets, but I got a moderate low tide and no rain. I think the tide was assisted by a wind out of the northwest.<\/p>\n

I wish I had left earlier. When I arrived at the creek, the tide was already pretty low, so I lost about 40 minutes of play time to the paddle. When I arrived at the mud, I had no idea what I was going to shoot, or how I was going to set up my cameras. I wasted more time figuring all that out. Ironically, I decided to shoot a video of me, just enjoying the mud the way I like it best. You might say, I had a little “me time” in the mud. I needed it, since I haven’t had any good mud in a month. The ironic thing is that I wasted a lot of time setting up recording equipment. I could have just left the cameras in their cases and got right to it.<\/p>\n

I got about 25 minutes to actually play before the high tide was lapping at my toes; figuratively speaking. I spent the first 10 minutes of that, getting tied up. I did a good job of tying myself, and I had a good struggle. I spent some time under the mud.<\/p>\n

The one image I grabbed from the video is from the end of my sink, after I got myself untied. The caption should read, “Who wants to go next?”. I’m back home, now. My back is killing me, and I could use a nap, so you’ll have to wait for the rest of the stills and video from this trip.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
