Friday could be an option, but I am scheduled to give blood on Thursday, after which I generally take a day off from hyper physical craziness.<\/p>\n<p>So, the low tide was around 01:00 pm, today, so I headed out around noon. I knew what I wanted to shoot, and I had worked out most of the details, I just needed some cooperation from the elements. The weather was great. The tide was good enough for me to get my shot.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/mudlover.com\/theswamp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-13_jvc4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-3061\" src=\"https:\/\/mudlover.com\/theswamp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-13_jvc4-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"2015-05-13_jvc4\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mudlover.com\/theswamp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-13_jvc4-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/mudlover.com\/theswamp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-13_jvc4-150x112.jpg 150w, https:\/\/mudlover.com\/theswamp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-13_jvc4-1024x767.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/mudlover.com\/theswamp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2015-05-13_jvc4.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>The theme of today&#8217;s clip was one of the willing quicksand victim. I strolled deeper and deeper into the mud until the mud swallowed me, completely. I slipped below the surface organically, and without panic, or a struggle.<\/p>\n<p>After I finished the immersion scene, I horsed around a bit. The spot I selected for the immersion was a very deep spot in a large pool of pudding-like mud. I went below the surface, searching the depths for something solid. The deep spot is not very large, but it&#8217;s deep enough that I couldn&#8217;t reach the bottom. Of course, the fun is in trying to find the bottom when the mud is over my head. Actually finding a bottom isn&#8217;t really important.<\/p>\n<p>I wish I could stay and write more about my trip, but I must cut this short. I got some great video, and I&#8217;ll be editing it when I get some time. Hopefully, I&#8217;ll be back out in the mud, soon.
