\"2014-10-26_inverview3\"<\/a>I recorded an interview, today, that I hope to use in my “Making a Mud Movie” movie. The weather, today, is absolutely lovely. I felt like it would be appropriate to do this interview outdoors, so I made it happen.<\/p>\n

I’ll find out how successful I was when I begin to weave the interview into the mass of video clips I have roughly assembled for the documentary. The audio is the most important part, as I won’t be needing much of the video. I already have 21 years of video. I just need a story.<\/p>\n

\"2014-10-26_inverview\"<\/a>I’m really excited about this undertaking. I feel like it’s the culmination of decades of work. It will be the closest thing to a real production that I’ve ever assembled for the mud sinking genre. I think I’d be okay if this was the last mud movie I ever made. It’s going to tell my story, and the story of a swamp clip producer. The swamp is not a friendly place; especially for electronics. The physical effort involved to move my boat, my equipment, and myself into some of the muddiest places in the coastal marsh, and back out, is not trivial. There is no way I’d be making mud movies in the swamp if I didn’t enjoy it a lot.<\/p>\n

The goal of my documentary is to talk about the process, my motivation, and a little background about me. I expect to have it done in the next month or so. I can’t wait to share it with all of my mud friends (that’s you).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
