I got this idea to go into the woods and hang by my ankles in the rain, but it stopped raining before I got out there. I do think the image would have been better if it had been raining, but it didn&#8217;t turn out too bad without rain.<\/p>\n<p>I did this all by myself. It is a tricky photograph to get. I haven&#8217;t looked at the video from my GoPro. The GoPro is not very good in low light conditions. I let it record this event, for documentation. The main camera was the Nikon DSLR shooting in interval timer mode.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not really too hard to get suspended, and cuff my wrists, but it takes hours before my head feels normal, again, after I spend 20 minutes hanging upside down. I hope someone likes the photo. I can&#8217;t go mudding until this rain stops and the creek level has a chance to subside. We got 2.6&#8243; of rain, yesterday, and another 0.7&#8243;, today. We&#8217;re expecting more, tomorrow. I sure hope it takes a break, soon. It&#8217;s too bad we couldn&#8217;t redirect some of this rain to the west coast, where they&#8217;re having a prolonged drought.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The rain still hasn&#8217;t stopped.
