\"2014-06-04_clean\"<\/a>I ventured out to the swamp, as planned, this morning. My destination was the really deep, not-so-thick mud spot that is only available at extra low tide levels. I wasn’t sure, when I got on the creek if I’d be able to play there, but I went there to have a look, and it was waiting for me to jump in.<\/p>\n

\"2014-06-04_tentacle\"<\/a>My plan was to do some carefully coordinated shots to create the illusion that I was grabbed by a tentacle and sucked into the mud. There are a couple of ways of doing that, but the one I picked was to wrap a rope around myself, pull it off, and run the shot backwards, so it would look like the rope emerged from the mud and wrapped itself around me. I used the weight to pull the rope off, but the weight didn’t sink deep enough to pull the rope into the mud, so the effect did not work.<\/p>\n

\"2014-06-04_tying\"<\/a>I decided to continue with my plan, even though the setup scene didn’t work. What I did next was something I’ve never dared to do, before. I tied my ankles, and attached the weight to them. I figured this would allow me to pump my legs, resulting in a fast, one-way trip under the mud. I had given a lot of thought to my escape. I attached the weight so that I could release myself from it with very little effort.<\/p>\n

As it went, I didn’t sink as fast as I had hoped. The spot I landed in had some thicker mud about 1.5 meters down that stopped the weight from sinking spontaneously. I had to wiggle it to keep it sinking.<\/p>\n

\"2014-06-04_armpitdeep\"<\/a>I had my breathing hose within reach, so I could slip below the surface and not have to release myself immediately. Once I went under, there would be no coming back up, as long as my ankles were attached to the weight. When I pulled my ankles up, I went down and when I pushed them back down, the weight would sink a little further. That part worked; it was just a bit slower than I had anticipated. I did get trapped beneath the surface, and it was interesting. I had already tested my release, so I was 99.99% sure I’d have no trouble returning to the surface. However, to release myself, I still had to go very deep under the mud, so I could reach my ankles with my hands. It was pretty intense for me, but I’m afraid it doesn’t make for good viewing, since you can’t see what’s going on below the surface.<\/p>\n

I had arrived fairly early, so I had a couple of hours to play. I continued to enjoy myself until the tide came back in, by which time I was sunburned and had mud baked into my skin. I also ran the battery dead on my GoPro, but I continued shooting with my Nikon. It’s a good thing I had something to shoot with until the end, because my mud play ended in a pretty great orgasm that was caught on camera.<\/p>\n

This clip will be a complicated mess to edit. I have a lot of video and most of it will be tossed out. I also need to sync audio with all of it. It may be a while before this video is released, but there are some good scenes, so it should be worth the wait.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
