\"2014-05-12_kayak\"<\/a>It’s hard to tell whether I was tired, burned out, or just uninspired, but I arrived at the mud, yesterday, and I couldn’t decide what to do. I was definitely tired, because I kicked back in my boat and dozed for a few minutes, hoping that a great idea might pop into my head.<\/p>\n

I did come up with an interesting story line, but I couldn’t shoot it without first getting some more props and probably a different wardrobe. I’d also have to arrive before low tide for that idea to work.<\/p>\n

Given my state of mind, I thought maybe I could shoot a clip where I woke up, feeling drugged and disoriented, got up, and stumbled into the mud. I dug out my tripods, cameras and audio gear and I shot the setup scene. By the time I finished that, the tide level was rising pretty fast. My time was up, and I hadn’t even gotten in the mud. To be honest, I didn’t really care. I packed up my recording equipment, got in my boat, and started on my way back home, at a lazy pace. I might have taken another nap, but I was getting really hungry.<\/p>\n

I’m running out of ideas, and the loading, unloading, setting up, reloading, cleaning gear, downloading clips, editing, and blogging are taking their toll. I know you guys have ideas, but I am generally alone, and I have no jungles through which to swing. I have only my swamp, swamp mud, and a modest clay pit in the back yard. Furthermore, a single clip must require less than 2 hours of time (including editing), or it’s not going to be worth making.<\/p>\n

I know I can acquire different things to wear in the mud, but that doesn’t feel like a new idea. Masturbating in briefs, a thong, a singlet, or just naked all feels the same to me. Every scene is a little different, as a function of time of day, weather conditions, and mud conditions. Also, camera angles and settings make a difference. I can shoot the same scene 10 times and every one will be a little different, but I don’t feel like I’m bringing anything new to the table.<\/p>\n

Storylines must be simple and quick to setup and shoot, otherwise they don’t work for a fetish clip. I’ve had to discard many story lines because they would require more people or be too complicated and time consuming to shoot.<\/p>\n

I guess I’m just tired. I’ve been in the swamp 5 times in the past 10 days. I’m thinking of going back out, today, because conditions are good. I hate to waste good weather and good tide conditions, knowing that I can have weeks when I can’t go out at all. I have a video from last month I need to finish, and the idea I had yesterday might make a good clip, but I’d be much happier if I had an original idea that I was excited about shooting.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
