I didn&#8217;t really have time to play, so I slogged up a tributary in search of new locations. By walking the length of these channels, I get a pretty good idea of what the bottom is like, and how deep the mud is in them. Sometimes, the mud will be shallow for a good distance and then there will be a deep spot.
